Sir Alex Ferguson’s time at Manchester Unitedin an official capacity will come to an end following the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign. The legendary manager won 13 Premier League titles during a 26-year spell at Old Trafford, also lifting five FA Cups, four League Cups, two Champions Leagues, the Club World Cup and a World Club Championship.
The Scot was the club ambassador following his retirement from the dugout, earning a whopping £2.165million during his first eight months as a United ambassador. Sir Alex has had other business interests outside of football to maintain his income stream after retiring as a manager in 2013.
But how much is the former United boss worth, and what has he done since retiring from the game? Ferguson has his own business – ACF Sports Promotions Ltd – with sons Mark, Darren and Jason listed as directors. Sir Alex’s late wife, Lady Cathy, was also on the directors before she passed away aged 84 in October 2023.
